Bastien Kerspern is an interaction and service designer specialized in social and public innovation. He designs digital services and interactive experiences tackling social stakes with a human-centered approach. He enjoys wearing the hat of a design researcher, using guerilla-ethnographic methodologies and tools to identify ground-breaking behaviors or opportunities to build on. He believes in innovation by transgression with a huge dose of cultural jamming and parody. He currently works on the questions related to citizens’ participation and open governance to create a fair and collaborative local democracy. He tries to keep pushing the boundaries of design areas by involving people and institutions in the process.
